Listen as Pastor Jesse explains the difference between Complacency vs. Dependency as it relates to the mission on the Eastside. One of the greatest threats to the success of our campus is complacency. Webster’s defines complacency as “self satisfaction especially when accompanied by unawareness of actual dangers or deficiencies”. The danger that we face on the Eastside is thinking that the campus is going to flourish on it’s own because we are Mars Hill. It’s dangerously possible that the success of the air war and results in a lazy ground war. This a beckoning call to put your hands to the plow for the mission of the gospel on the Eastside and it starts with a conscious awareness of our dependency on none other than Jesus.

Mars Hill Bellevue is helping kick off a church-wide effort to raise funds for a number of local ministry needs and our global effort to see as many churches and disciples of Jesus as possible. Why? Because God has been generous to us. By donating above and beyond regular church giving, we have a unique opportunity to start the new year strong and gain some ground in our mission to share Jesus with the world.
Join others in your region who call the Mars Hill Bellevue campus home for a night of teaching and equipping. We’ll share ideas, needs, concepts and prayers as we strive towards living out the Gospel in the communities we live. Regional Events are held monthly. Be sure to check back often for dates and location changes.
