You’d have to be blind and deaf to have not noticed that we have babies overflowing out of our nursery at the Bellevue campus. It sure is a good problem to have so let’s celebrate with a baby dedication!

We take the opportunity to do baby dedications so that parents can come before the church family to introduce the newest addition to the family and confess that they desire to raise their children for the glory of God. It’s an opportunity for the church to rejoice with the parents for their gift of a child, welcome the child into the church, and commit ourselves to prayerfully supporting the family and the child in hopes that they will grow to love and serve the Lord. It’s the recognition that we are all in this together no matter what stage of life you are in and we need each other’s help as we live life out in gospel community. If all that wasn’t enough; Jesus’ parents took him to be dedicated to the Lord (Luke 2:21-23) so we will to.
