Dear Bellevue,

Five months ago I was laid off from Mars Hill central and a few weeks later found myself working for the Bellevue campus.  Through a very chaotic time I was warmly welcomed here and made many great friends.  God has taught me much through this season and through all of the relationships I have started.  In just a short few months the Spirit has radically affected my heart, which makes this news bittersweet.  When I arrived in Bellevue I was just happy to have a job, but during the time here I have really learned a great deal about humility and leadership.

I have been asked to take a role at the Ballard campus of Mars Hill.  During the next week I will be making my transition out of Bellevue and into this new role.  Its happening very fast and I’m doing my absolute best to make sure all the gaps get filled.  I know that it doesn’t matter whether I’m here; the gospel will continue to do great things in this community. There is a great team of volunteers to keep the Sunday services running and continue doing amazing things with the website and communications.
