Proxy | Youth Groups

Mission
Mars Hill Church lives for Jesus as a city within the city, knowing culture, loving people, and seeing lives transformed to live for Jesus.
Ministry Purpose
Proxy exists to reach students, connect them to our community, teach them the truth of Christ so that we will be a community of missional worshipers.
Definition of Proxy
[6th-12th grade students]:
1. A person authorized to act as the substitute for another.
2. An ally who can be relied upon to speak or act in one’s behalf.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, humbled himself and came into a fallen and utterly dark world inhabited by people he created, people who had rebelled against their loving Creator. He lived a perfectly righteous life, always following the will of God, always selflessly loving others, and always revealing the character of God through his words and actions. Jesus lived the life we are called to live but do not. If we follow Jesus in faith, we receive his righteousness. In this way, Jesus is our Proxy.
Mars Hill Bellevue’s Proxy groups strive to build relationships, share the Gospel and continually integrate others to join our Gospel community.
How We Meet
We are one youth group, centered on Jesus Christ and His Gospel. We meet:
- In community groups across the Eastside throughout the week.
- Collectively once monthly at Mars Hill Church Belleuve, on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7pm, in order to corporately worship Christ with our lives.
Where We Meet
Below is a list of the Proxy community groups that meet in homes around the Eastside. For further information regarding the various youth community groups, please email Deacon Dustin Nickerson.
